Chef J. Luis Dominguez

Chef J. Luis Dominguez is an upcoming and innovative chef who has quickly changed the late night bistro culinary experience. Having delighted the palates of his peers, NYC restaurant critics and Social Media followers alike with his imaginative Latin fusion cuisine, Chef Dominguez’s talents are now being recognized at Vinus & Marc.  Growing up in Mexico, his passion for the culinary arts ignited early and by 14 he knew he wanted to become a professional chef. He began his career in NYC at the age of 17 working alongside leading chefs – Cedrid Tovar and  Mario Batali.  He previously worked for Frank Locker at Duane Park Café as a pastry chef before joining him at Vinus & Marc.  Chef Dominguez brings his unique style to traditional dishes adding a tantalizing twist and continues to delight regulars with his dynamic and bold new additions. Signatures dishes include his special Temptress Tuna Tartare, Sultry Shrimp and Grits served with lobster bisque, Bistro Beet Salad finely chopped with goat cheese, and the house special Mexican Chocolate Tantalizing Tart with strawberry coulis sauce and fresh whipped cream
